hi, a store clerk today told me she thinks i'd like the climate in Da Lac. it's a resort area and it has a mild climate. anyone know about jobs there? i live in seattle (USA) and she thinks i'd like the climate. seattle doesn't get very hot and does'nt get below freezing too often, but we get lots of rain.
any other suggestions for mild climate, not too polluted places i can look for jobs when i come to vietnam?
would a resort area be likely to have jobs?

Da Lat is a nice - but fairly small - town and it is well elevated so it was much too cold for my tests when I was there last year about this time. I know that there is a fairly prestigious university there and there are golf tours.

I don't know of any language schools, but if you can make it for a few months without a great deal of income, you might be able to carve out a niche for yourself.

I'd say you would be trailblazing though.

I was in Dalat last week and the climate is great. I could live there, but the word is that the money you would make there would be a pittance in comparison to Saigon. Dalat is a pretty place. You may not be able to make ends meet, but.... you never know.
