|
|
A few weeks ago I was in an Internet cafe here in Mexico and I came across an article (written in Spanish) that basically said that if a Mexican was able to work in certain careers and had a certain English level, s/he could apply to immigrate (at least temporarily) to Australia. The article said that Australia was in need of certain types of professionals. Unfortunately, the printer in the cafe was not working at the time, and I have not been able to find anything saying anything about this on the Net (probably using the wrong search words).
Does anyone know anything about this and/or where I can find information? The International Programs Office here is being revitalized and I thought this would be (if it is true) a good opportunity for some of our students when they graduate with their bachelor's (I work for a technical college that confers bachelor's degrees).
Any info would be appreciated. |

Hi there thelmadatter ,
I think you're referring to the skilled worker immigration program. You can find more information about all kinds of working visas for Australia here: http://www.dimia.gov.au/work/index.htm
Good luck!
