Hi,

I will be arriving in Beijing in a few days and have a question abount converting cash (500 US $) for beginning expenses. I was told that the conversion at the airport may be at a poor rate. Is this true? Would i get a better rate if i convert at a bank? If so can i change money at any bank? My final destination is Zibo city. Will i be able to change money there?

Thanks,
Sridhar

The airport will have a Bank of China branch so it will be the same thing. I wa s even cashing US 20's everywhere---little stores giving 8-1 which is only pennies less thant he bank Not a big deal..
