Hello,
Can anyone please tell me if you can get a job teaching once you are in Hong Kong or China without a work visa? |

did you read the sticky threads up above? you ought to read them first, then ask questions. most of the answers you need you'll find there.

Why is it that when someone asks a question about visas et al (very often I know), they rarely get a straight answer, but when someone asks "where can I buy coffee/butter in Shanghai?" (er.. in the shop) they get a host of earnest replies? Soz 7969 not having a go at you.
To answer the OP, I came on a tourist visa and the school arranged the rest. However, as the honourable gentleman said, the answers are in the stickies. |

At this point, as far as I know, there are no stickies about butter, coffee, etc. Wish it were so however. Serioiusly though (ba-dum-bum), I think the best advice to give someone is maybe a link to a certain thread or sticky and let them take it from there.

I also came on a tourist visa and the school obtained a Z visa for me.
But remember, the rules change all the time!
so check with the school for up to date policies and better visa directions. |
