| 27 i was. left side, next to my ear. never seen one (literally, only one ever) since but have kept the one bast ard to remind what might happen if stress or work ever gets the better of me...it's almost turned into its own 'cubana' as the trailer trash 'mullet' is called here. Except 'cubanas' are fashionable in argielandia. |

I was in my early 30s when I started to get my first gray hairs. And Guy, once it starts to go grey, it can go fast. Now (39) my hair is about 50-50 gray/brown... |

..From a woman's perspective, I found my first grey hair in my bangs on the front of my head about 3 years ago ...I hit the bottle (hair colouring bottle) and never looked back. Now I know I will never go grey--unless I choose to do so!! |

My boyfriend found my first grey hair for me.
It had been awhile between hair coloring appointments and so one managed to pop out on me. He thought it was cute but I was completely horrified! The lesson learned for me is to keep on highlighting so that this won't happen again! |

Nothing yet (I'm only 30! ) but I did once find a mysterious black hair. And a hair growing out of a mole. How very feminine!

32nd birthday, several months ago. (What a lovely freaking coincidence!)
Only in the moustache, though, and only a few! (Baldness hath it's privileges- there's so little hair on my head that the idea of ever getting much grey in it is improbable.

| Gray hair (in my case a pretty silvery color) began to appear when I was in my thirties, and I began to color it sometime after. Several years ago (I'm now 60), I let all the silver grow in and realized that I liked the way it looked (even my beautician agreed with the assessment). I've been a silver-headed woman ever since and feel quite happy about how I look and the money I save! |

| Got my first gray hair a couple of years back, sometime around the birth of my second child. I have no doubt that like my father, my children gave me gray hair. |

I was 35ish when I found my first grey. I am almost 42 now and have a sprinkling around the face (dont know about the back of the head... never looked)
Personally I like a bit of grey (Like the Grateful Dead song), esp on people with dark hair. (It annoys me a little that my current beau insists on coloring his hair - I like the way the grey looks on him) While Im definitely a brunette, you really cant notice the grey yet unless you look close, might be because of the curls.
The only things that have ever bothered me about hair as I get older is when my son comes up and starts counting the grey hairs (dang kid!) and like denise when thick dark stray hairs appear where they should not. I admit to having tweezers!
I like MO39's hair too...
Oh and one other thing... doncha think that if we 30 and 40 somethings have to put up with stuff like this that we should a least have absolutely no more zits?????????? |

| I was 11 years old, my mom found it, my grey hairs stand straight up when they first come in. So there it was right in the middle of my head. Today at 33, I'm approaching 50% grey! But my mom claims she was 100% grey by 30, so I'm doing pretty good. I'm not a fan of artifical hair colors, so here I am! My brother and my cousins on my mom's side also have greyed "prematurely". In my twenties, I've never thought my grey made me look older than my age, but after several years of the Mixtec sun and the task of becoming a mother, I'm not so sure... |
