Anyone have info on this outfit?

I've been offered an interview. I have an MATESOL and 14 years exp, mostly in Korea.

They're offering 25, 000 - 34,000 MOP/month(depending on qualifications), + one month bonus salary per year, accommodation allowance, and flights. 20hrs/wk, 22 days holiday. Some off-site work possible. 2 year contract.

Any comments?

Hi,
I've seen this post advertised a couple of times over the past 5 yrs or so. Perhaps it suggests there is not a huge staff turnover which is a good indicator.
I noticed it has a good renumeration package. But, personally, no amount of money could tempt me to relocate to Macao over HK. Macao doesn't have a lot going for it imo. (Sorry if I offend any Macaoers)
As for the Bell group. I haven't worked for them directly, but know they have operations as far as Thailand, UK and even Libya. Some friends I know have worked for Bell in Thailand, and they said that Bell was a much more professional set up than any other Thai school.
Try it. It'll be something different!

Thanks for the input! I've been to HK, briefly on vacation, and, from what I hear, Macau has a more laid-back atmosphere. That appeals to me. Not to say I wouldn't take a HK job if something good came a long, but I'm 39 and not as much a partier as I once was! So, quiet is good. My concern is the vacation is only 22 days! I've just come from a uni where I have 10 weeks!

I'm actually looking more into the ME, namely Oman. But, I've been applying anywhere that looks good.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated!

The salary seems very liveable, and personally I find Macau a very cool place. It has not got around to destroying as much of its history as Hong Kong and has a lot of character. It is also cheaper on most things. The holiday thing does sound a little on the stingy side though. Hong Kong is only about an hour away on the ferry, so should the need for extra pollution take you, you can do get it very quickly.

once again, What do you do in Macau, if I may ask? You can PM me if you don't want to post it.

Yeah, the vacation thing is the weak point. But, I guess I could do a couple years there and be looking for something else so I can bail out at the end of the contract. I looked in to UofMacau, but they have no postings at the moment.

My problem is that I'm basically a lazy job searcher and I'll probably take the first job I'm offered if it's decent.
