Mine:
Very little vehicle traffic.
Very few power lines.
No pachinko.
Easy on the eyes.

Lots of helpful young men dressed in suits sporting punch-permed hair, talking on keitais, offering employment advice to young ladies passing by...
No. Wait... Nevermind.
Large, black welcome busses playing catching marching music and covered with Japanese flags to greet people arrivng at the station...
Oh.. uhh... Wait a minute... Scratch that.
Nice, friendly taxi drivers offering to teach you colloquial Japanese expressions... Well, actually, not really.
Sorry, Sweetsee. Come to think of it, my station really sucks! In fact, it could really be improved with a couple of pounds of C4 and a bulldozer.

Train station? Has a train arriving about every 20 mins. I think I take a train about once a year now from there. |

That sounds a lot like Shinjuku, Jim. |

Yeah it does, doesn't it? Except mine's out in the back-assward boonies.. They just WANNABE like Shinjuku. It's kinda like Shinjuku-lite. All the charm, but half the riff-raff of the real thing. |

+ It's quiet.
+ The cute little grocery store that I shop at it right across the street from it.
+It's a short walk from my place.
+It's only two stops from a major station.
+It's not on a major line.
+I don't pay for my tickets.
-It's not on a major line.
I kind of like it.

The sweet old woman who works in the platform kiosk, smiles when she sees me, says "otsukare" and hands me a can of Kirin without my having to ask. |

Sweetsee, you always pose these random questions, because you are either bored, or get your jollies off from seeing people answer them. You asked a meaningless question, and I gave an honest answer. Then you take a swipe, that doesn't make sense.
A suggestion...try spending more time thinking about your failures, so that you can forget them. |
