Good day all,
With the playoffs right around the corner, and my Flames well on their way to another cup drive, I was just wondering if it is possible to watch NHL games in any bars? I was also curious if there is anywhere you can play hockey in Japan (rec. leauges, intermediate, pro, even ball hockey)? I'll be living in Nagoya just to specify but any info. from other parts of the country would be greatly appreciated.

I couldnt find much on Google on ice hockey as its not a big sport here (there are not even enough ice rinks for Olympic figure skaters) but Osaka University fields an ice hockey team . Strictly amateur, but better than nothing, I guess.
The email listed is for the person to contact but its more aimed at university students than members of the public. |

I'm in the Tohoku region, but I've been around a bit and found you can find adult ice hockey leagues at most rinks. Can even find rinks with pick-up games in bigger cities (Nagoya should be big enough to find them). Figure skating has seen a huge jump in popularity here lately so expect most of the ice time in a given day to go to figure skaters. Also, bring your own equipment as it's a lot more expensive to buy here. |

Perhaps the poster knows how to use bittorrent. Maybe he/she wants to watch live games, or watch in a bar like they said
Anyway, philthy, you could try here:
