No matter how many times you post it Wink . . .

From someone who has worked for the UADY for 10 years, I think you should re-check your information on this one. The UADY is an autonomous university. It is not part of SEP, nor are the UADY's preparatorias, which are by far the two largest prepas in Merida. Some of the UADY's graduate programs have an English proficiency level prerequisite, but there is no SEP English exam score required for acceptance into the UADY's undergraduate programs.

Tim
There was nothing in my missive that implied that UADY was part of SEP or a prepatoria system. Please read my thread again. The only mistake I made was grammatical in that I did not put my discussion of UADY in a separate paragraph. And Im sorry if I mistook your comment that most of the UADY students have about a 8 1/2 level on the SEP exam route as mandatory.

The way I read your statement above is that you're saying students have to pass a level 8 or 9 English SEP before getting into the UADY. Students are not required to pass (at any level) an English SEP or any other exam in English to get into the UADY. The only exception is for admittance into some of the UADY's graduate programs, and the English exams they have to take in such cases are not SEP exams.
