You know that they say bald men are better....I guess I can't finish that sentence on a public forum.

Justin
I know many people SAY bald men are better lovers... but that's always the bald mens saying.
The women seem to be pointedly silent on the subject. |

Au contraire, mon frere.
I was merely quoting what I've heard from....well, really only one woman in recent history, but she's the one who counts! In any case, I had more hair when I met her...

By that I might suppose that women are the cause of male hair loss or at least greying? |

If I want to see a great head of hair, I need look no further than the other side of the bed. My husband has one of the greatest manes of all time.

| I found my first Grey hair on my chest while in the shower. I must have pulled out 7 or 8 black ones to get to it. I wasn't going to give up until I got it. The things a man will do at 33 boggles the mind doesn't it. |

I found my first gray hair at the age of 18 or 19. I immediately pulled it out. I found my sister's first gray hair when she was 16 or something.
oh well... |

i haven't found any yet, but i do have a single black hair growing in my bangs (fringe for all you brits). i will almost certainly go bald before i go gray, and i would say the worst thing about being blond is having fine, thin hair that makes you look partially bald to begin with. my friends in high school liked to refer to my condition as "the mange."
today in Parade magazine (an insert in the sunday paper) there was a medical article about preventing baldness. it seems that there are new "advanced" techniques in replacing hair which are much more effective, better looking, and safer than hair plugs. also, the article said that a combination of minoxodil (Rogaine) and a certain drug i don't remember are extremely effective in preventing and even reversing hair loss in its early stages. sorry i can't find the paper to be more detailed, guys. |

I've heard that baldness is caused by an excess of testosterone. This supports Justin's hypothesis, and also provides a clue to a solution. Boys, go on the pill!!
I went for a haircut the other day, and the hairdresser said "So what are we going to do about these grey hairs?". "Nothing." was my reply. I occasionally put henna in my hair because I've recently got it cut quite short and its too dark for my liking, but I don't care about my greys at all. Its just part of being older, no?
I even like it when they stick up in the air and wave at people on the other side of the room! |
