no matter which way you look at it this is not America.. the police here will not look after you the way they do at home there is no 911 you can call if you think you are in trouble... they will want to get rid of you any way they can to give themselves less trouble. peole who come here have no idea what it is like and they either sink or swim... it is a sad fact that they expect to be treated like they would be at home in their own country.. never going to happen. htey do not investigate schools or districts they are going to live in, they have no idea they will be treated the way they do... what can they expect? I have kbnown teacher to just leave becuase they can't cope withthe food, the weather, living conditions... it's very sad... they do not do their homework first and pay a price for doing it... there is not enough notice taken of postings on this kind of forum...
