Salary: Apr @ 12,000 yen per day
May - March 2007 @ 212,334 yen
Other: Need to drive a car

2)
Position: ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) in Hitachiomiya city
Working Hour: MON-FRI 09:00 to 15:00, 6 hrs a day for 175 days of work a year
Salary: Apr - @ 12,000 yen per day
May to March 2007 - @ 186,000 yen except August and March.
August and March - @ 100,000 yen
Other: Need to drive a car



I can't believe that they have the gall to advertise wages like these!

I hope that they didnt fill the positions at those wages.

What a joke. That's subsistence wages when one has to pay for accommodation. Many Japanese get poor wages like that but they usually sponge off their parents, an option not open to the average gaijin...

Who can afford to drive?

On Gaijinpot:

ALT POSITION in Zama

150,000/Month

Working hour Usually Monday to Friday. But sometimes,it is different. is 5 working hours per day(plus lunch break). From 8:45am to14:30 pm.
*In case of a school event on holiday, you might be required to attend.

That`s cheeky. What they`re trying to do is send you home early because most schools don`t have classes from 2.30 or 3pm. I rarely do, but I`m contracted to stay until 4pm, so I use that time to prepare (or post on the internet!). You`d still do exactly the same amount of work but be more stressed out and worse paid. Cheeky f))))ers.
