| Oh, by the way, there are new cellphones here now that can be used as electronic money- you load several thousand yen onto them and then can use them to pay at convenience stores, vending machines and also for your train fare at stations just by running it over a touch pad as you go through the gate, without you having to buy a ticket. That's with JR East anyway, not sure about the rest of Japan. |

I never thought that at all @ nefarious purposes. At least not for ECC. All I meant was that we weren't getting the full story/scoop. And the reason you stated is exactly why they told us to get a cell. |

Oh, sorry, you said in one post "I knew the company was trying to "persuade" us to get a cellphone for their own reasons" so I thought that meant you though the compnay had a hidden agenda. Never mind  |
