Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone who has entered the UK on a Working Holiday Visa could answer a question for me:
Do they check your finances upon entry to the UK? Or just when you actually make the application for the visa?

| Standard international requirement in most countries are that one possess an onward ticket if not resident or the means to purchase one. it used to be $300 US and may well have changed since my travelling days. Expect to be asked at immigration. |

Yeah sorry, just to clarify, I was meaning the 2000 or so pounds you are required to have for the working holiday visa.

| I think the answer is that they could do if they wanted. Laws have tightened up enormously of late. It's all a matter of luck. |
