There are signs in the police station in English offering $2000 NT to turn in the names of any foreigners you know who are here working illegally. This is new, too. I don't remember seeing these a year ago.
No, I didn't have my camera and I'm not going back to take a picture. I just saw the sign and wondered about it. Does anybody know what the process is? How much information do you need to have? Their name and the name of their school?
Has anybody else seen these or know of someone who has done this? |

I haven't seen one although I think 2000NT isn't much of an incentive. It would depend on how badly one needed the money! Maybe 20,000 might perk up a few ears!  |
