Some people have pictures on their mail profile and some people put them in their mails and some of them even move. How can we do this? Please mail. You can PM me if you are shy

It's called an avatar. Look in your profile settings at the bottom.

Avatar basics 101:

1. Find a picture/design/graphic/animation you want to use. Make sure that:

a) it's not too big (the number of pixels across and down);
b) the file size isn't too large -- remember, some people are still dialing up to the Internet with slow telephone modems;
c) it's not rude, obscene, vulgar, etc or the mods will remove it. Repeat offenders may even have their avatar privileges permanently removed by Dave (I've seen it happen).

2. a) Host your picture. Either put it onto your own webspace or have a 3rd party host it... Don't choose a company that doesn't allow hotlinking or will stop displaying your image after a certain bandwith has been hit. A good choice for free hosting is Imageshack: http://www.imageshack.us/

b) Copy the URL of where your picture is and paste it into your Dave's profile where it says: avatar.

3. $Profit!$
