It's in Kemerburgaz. One of the best places to work and one of the highest paying. Fairly well organised and the kids are pretty decent.

Oh dear, that Kemerburgaz is way out of town, right? Talked to the school this morning and it sounded very nice, indeed.

It is out of town. however there is a service from Taksim square at 7 am and arrives at school at about 7.50. The traffic isn't bad at that time at that time in the morning, plus as you are going out of town in the morning the bulk of the traffic is going in the opposite direction. Most of the foreign teachers live in the centre.

If the neighbourhood is quiet, I wouldn't even mind to live outside the city. Whatever happens, the biggest challenge for me will be commuting to work! For the past 15 years I could cycle to work and it never took more than 30 min., guess I am just spoiled...

It is quiet dagi, but very expensive. Expensive as in alot of the kids you would teach live out there. Not many teachers can afford to send their kids to schools that cost 15000 dollars..... and that's the kindergarten, so think how much rent would be there and HEV give a fairly generous housing allowance.
