I'm going to Japan to look for a job...I'm pretty flexible to what kind of job I'm looking for.

Do you guys think I need to bring my university degree?
Will any employers actual check?

9 times out of 10 immigration is the place that wants to see your degree in order to give you a work visa.

Bring it.

Yes, because if you want to change from a WHV you'll need your degree.

You pay more tax on a working holiday visa. Be smart. Come on a working holiday visa, get a job and change to a working visa (SIH or Instructor visa) depending on the teaching job.

If you work 12 months on the WHV and want to stay here after that you will need your degree to get a work visa. Its up to you if you want to keep it with you or get it sent over when the time comes.

For a WHV you wont need a degree as its not a requirement of getting the visa.

The tax rate for WHV holders is 20% all right, but I think you can get most of this back. Not so for your regular work visa holders.

WHV requires neither a sponsor or a degree.

Its a work/ travel / holiday visa which lets its owner travel around japan and work PT or full time for up to one year. Its not designed to replace a full time sponsored work visa.

WHV is only available at overseas embassies and you have to apply in your home country.

No, you need a sponsor for a work visa.
You don't for a working holiday visa.
