does any one have any [useful] information, experience, anecdotes... about working east of lombok.... any ngos , charities...lone crusaders, whatever. ideally in one of the smaller isles of papua maluku or ntt...but just about anywhere that aint java...

Those dear chaps at EF have an outpost in Jayapura, Papua. Also - though not actually Indonesia per se - there was an ad on Dave's some time ago in Dili (or is that Dilli), Timor Leste. A Google search should turn that one up. |

Yes, there was a job offered in Dili.
2000USD a month with few benefits.
If you are not fussed about money, there are plenty of options in Mataram and Kupang at locally owned private English schools. |
