I may move there. ....does anyone know about this area? I don't suppose there are any dershanes...  but suadiye and bostancı are just next door. What are the work possibilities? |

| Kucukyali is the cheap part of Bostanci and so many TEFLers live there, An Interlang DOS used to live there and probably still does. |

Wow! That's some pretty steep rent!! 
Husband is Turkish and his cousins live near there. He has found apartments for 700 tl per month. That's good for Istanbul.
I don't want to buy property. |

| Funny. We're coming to Istanbul tomorrow to take care of some things. Husband will go to a real estate agent. I'll go see Topkapi Palace. Why? Because if he arrives with a foreigner, those rents and deposits will mysteriously go up..... m y s t e r i o u s... |

Never said it was cheap. I said it was the cheap part of Bostanci. |

Who gave you the idea that she was gong to buy?
Is that expensive for you TEFLers because you always give the impression that you are doing so great? |

There are two parts to K.Y below the minbus road near the sea side road and above the minbus road towards the E5 motorway.
So prices can go from a 1,000,000 $ (seaside villa ) to less than 100,000$
E5 flat. Rent works the same. Only bad thing about the area is that parking is very limited, and the Minbus road can be a nightmere. Work is only around 20 min away either in Bostanci or along Bagdat cad.
Its fairly cheap compared to areas around it. Try and stay below or near the Minbus road for the best properties.
