I'm going to Germany for a short trip.

Do I need a converter for my cell phone, when charging?

No idea Teacherdude.

This is the Turkey TEFL forum.

Ask about low pay and apalling working conditions and we can probably help you.

Teacherdude-do you know the cheapest way to get from Norfolk island to Sydney? No-oops wrong forum.

Teacherdude, I don't know about Germany but in Portugal, france, and Bulgaria I didn't need to use an adaptor. The ony thing you might need is a plug-shape adaptor. Different countries have different shaped and sized pongs but the current/voltage is the same all over Europe.

In Star Trek they can only replicate inanimate objects.

certian parts of the german mind, like the part that produces the subtle emotions are most certianly inanimate. the rest of the body can be cloned.

and if they can only replicate inanimate objects what about the food??

No, you don't need a converter to charge your cell phone in Germany. Most adaptors for cell phones come in a shape and size that can be used in most Western European countries.
I think only Britain is different, but they still drive on the left and talk about inches and miles, so that shouldn't be a big surprise.

If you're going in order to watch England play, you'd better get there quickly ...
