For all you ESL vets,
What is the story with teaching online? It seems like it involves downloading some software, getting a cam and mike, and signing up. Has anyone actually done this and gotten paid? If so what are the pros and cons. This just seems too good to be true way of way supplamenting income in those places that pay poorly but are awesome to live in. |

I teach online and the company that I work for does not require any special equipment or software downloads (do you have to have java on your PC). Although the pay is not great if you are trying to live in Canada, USA or parts of Europe, it can be good if you are living in countries with a lower cost of living. It's great as you can set your own hours and adjust your schedule depending on what you have on the go....
PM me if you have more specific questions...
