Hey. I'm in China right now and I'm considering possibly Changing my career to selling stuff over the internet to other countries. I'm not sure what legal procedures I'd have to go through in order to do this because I'm not sure what my resident permit allows me to do (besides teaching English). It's sponsored by my company and I was lead to believe that the only source of income that I'm allowed to have is only by working for the ESL company that sponsored me for the visa. Would I have to upgrade to a business visa before I do this? I came in on a Z type visa and got it switched to a resident permit. And would I have to leave the country to get a business visa? And if I do get a business visa, do I need someone in China to sponsor me for it? Or can I just apply for it and have it issued to me all on my own? If there's anyone who has any advice on this, I'd really like to know. Thanks.

How do you get the business visa by self-sponsoring? Is it possible with the F type visa? |
