Some are bitter. Some are not. There are many issues that TEFLers deal with on a regular basis - like work permits, health insurance, apathetic students, pathetic co-workers, management issues, split shifts, unguaranteed hours and other working conditions that leave a lot to be desired.

Plus, those with many grievances, personal or professional, tend to be more vocal than those with only a few.

Have you tried that msn group englishgirlfriendsofturkishmen? It's here in case you haven't - you'd find more in common, I'd think, with those forum regulars than the posters in here.

my souls sultan, my life, my love
you ask why i havent found a turkish girl, of course there are girls here but i dont want a beautiful face, i want a girl with a golden heart and i found that person in America.

i found you honey lips, cheery cheeks, what can i do, this is my fate.
my mother even realised how decent you are, she said you have a lovely personality.
i was born in a small town in antalya, i was educated in very difficult terms. However, these days i am very grateful my love, i work in ankara and my school is very close to my house.

just to let you know, i am a turkish child and i'll never eat my lovers money, a girls money. i am a man, it wouldnt suit my manhood to eat - spend - females money - thanks for the money you gave

coming back to the point as to whether i will live in another country: i love my country and the city that i live in. but for you, for your kind heart, i would live in the deserts of Africa, as long as you are with me my life, my love.

i can leave Turkey, but to be honest my love, i would love to come and see the place that you live, but it would be very difficult for me, you know the reason why. But i really want you next to me, i wish you were next to me right now so i could kiss and smell your hair whilst you sleep.

let as come to the reasons why i love you. You have such a kind heart, you are an angel. my love, your honesty and kindess shows in your every aspect. i love you because of your hot blood and honesty.

when it comes to my religion, i am a muslim and i would never change my religion but i have an open mind to religions. people are free to believe what they want. i will teach you all you need to know to become a muslims and all the good things about our religion... but i will never interfer with your decision. each to their own, you have no reason to worry about this subject.

my love, even if it is for a few days, i really want you next to me. for your summer holidays and for me can you please visit? once again i would like to thank your friend. my love i kiss you loads and i miss you very much

...... smells kinda of dodgy to me and very much like childs play. can somebody be fishing for a visa? so sorry to be so negative. I translated this only for fun... i think it would be better for you to go to a forum that is much more relevant.
