Got an interview to work at KFUM in orientation. Haven't sen many recent posts. Have got young kids and my wife would like to work as well. What is the management like, classes, materials, students? Is there accommodation included. They said the salary was competitive. Have read some recent comments about racism. Thanks |

Racism not nearly the prob at KFUPM it is in other places.
Generally, they are pretty good. Read my recent posts in the thread about Jubail Ind Coll, also other threads posted over the months/years.
Money not fab but you get treated with genuine respect and there are serious overtime opps. Hols are long...verrrry looooong!!
I didn't work on main campus, but at their Community College at Hafr Al Batin. I enjoyed it there, it was a very pleasant place indeed to work.
Check out the other threads. |

Doesn't KFUPM have smashing new staff quarters and a new high-tech language centre? |

What puzzles me is this. Why do some people post inquiries on here and then not even open the pm's that are sent to them ?
I am referring in particular to someone who lives in a topee ! |

Had interview but decided against job due to the length of the interview and the interviewer. Also, the educational allowance would not cover a decent place in a school for all the kids. There was also a question mark about the accommodation - it was inferred that it was old. It was also suggested that the materials being used were not particularly challenging nor any independent learning facilities for the students. Nice holidays though. |
