Dear All,
I am in need of an advice.I have been offered a job opportunity by a Company based in Muscat(Jibroo).
I have been offered the post of Sales Engineer for RO 220 for first three months and RO 245 p.m. there after.
Kindly advice is it an Ok offer.
Accomodation(Bachelor Sharing) and Transportation will be borne by the company.

Kindly Advice. If It is a good offer.

Rahultomar,

This is not a general employment board, but a board for expat English teachers. We know nothing of opportunities or salaries in other fields. Most of us here are on the level where we would not consider any position that paid less than 700-1000 OR a month plus the usual benefits of private furnished housing, medical, annual travel tickets, and 2 months of paid summer leave.

Sorry, but I don't know where it would be possible to check salaries in your field.

Well Carnac... thank you for what I assume is a compliment... (or a suggestion that I am a busybody) but, are you sure that you would want to give me the right to edit/delete/lock your messages? Shocked

I've never been one for 'management' positions... much more freedom to come and go as an ordinary poster.

Some five months back, I had floated an enquiry of board regarding Advice Plz. Join or not 2 join.
Now here I am.Right here in muscat since February 2006.
I am really enjoying this place, local people are really soft and good at heart.
They respect all irrespective of Age, Color, etc..
So All those who are planning a future here are invited to Oman.
Surely you will not regret your decision.
