Hey!
Has anyone worked for Nichibei International Cultural School in Chiba? Or heard anything about it? I can't seem to find too much info on the internet.
Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

They specialise in high schools and offer excellent contracts.

A British guy I knew was with them for over 8 years and never had a bad word to say about working there.

They don't have a website.

As for the previous post, they have not gone belly up. They are going very strong and are advertising for new staff therefore expanding.

I've known a few teachers who've worked for them, and I never heard any complaints. One person, a Brit, worked for them for several years. The others I've known all completed their contracts, and only left because they had plans in their home countries.

I never worked there, so there isn't much I can say about the school itself. However, the Nichibei teachers I knew lived in Katsutadai, part of Yachiyo City, which is between Tokyo (a little less than an hour from Ueno Station by train) and Narita (about 20 minutes by train). Not terribly exciting, but not exactly rural, either. There are plenty of izakiyas and bars, and Katsutai Station is at the junction of two main train lines that lead to Tokyo, so it's convenient.
I was at the apartment which Nichibei furnishes to their teachers once or twice, and it was quite nice.
Like i mentioned in an earlier post, all the people I knew who worked there completed their contracts, and I never heard any complaints.

As someone mentioned, they don't have a web site. I just googled them and came up with this thread only.
