Hi!
I was just wondering what would be considered 'normal' or appropriate to wear to work to teach in Mexico????

It's going to depend on the area and the school you teach in. If you mean Mexico City, it may be more formal that some other areas. The school you will be teaching at can give you that information because some schools ask you to wear a uniform.

A skirt or nice cotton pants and a blouse. Business-casual is always a good choice.

Where I teach, some people are VERY casual - T-shirt, shorts, sandals. (Not me.)

my school has three rules: no tank tops, no shorts, no flip flops. I can live with that....

I thought that there might be some people who dresses very casually but I wasn't sure if that was the norm or not. I am a jeans and t-shirt girl so I was just wondering what type of clothing I should get to prepare.

No, shorts and sandals definitely are not the norm in most schools. Think "office casual". As a woman you'll get away with dressing a lot more casually too.
