Hi... I live in the North of Spain and am useless with all things technological so please be patient!
I live in a flat with no current fixed telephone line, sharnig with two other people. All three of us have laptops, and would like to get a phoneline installed, broadband connection and cable TV... I know there are packages that you can get but would lie some advice as to which you think is the best and what I would need to do.
I want to find the cheapest solution so that we can all access the internet from our rooms, rather than having to have a central point in the flat where we use the internet.
One further problems is that our lanlord bought the flat after it had been repossessed and doesnt have any idea what the telephone number is, which I heard you have to have to get a phone line installed... Is this true?
Anyone with any advice/suggestions/useful information: thank you!!!! |

I have never heard of a phone company needing to know the phone number before installing a new phone line. This would be putting the cart before the horse, would it not?
As for deals on internet and cable, etc. telefonica has a package deal that I have seen advertised. No experience with it though.

Look for "oferta combinada"
You will likely need a wireless router. Not sure what the spanish for this is, but they are very widely available in electronics stores and are fairly easy to set up. |
