I recently applied to KFUPM and got an offer from AL-FALAK Co. I know times have changed in Saudi and contracts are no longer what they used to be but i found it strange that everything - ie. visa processing / medical insurance / accommodation etc etc was deducted form one's salary. This would leave about 10.000SR remaining from the original offer. Also, holidays amont to 30 calendar days plus whatever government / national holidays exist. Teaching hours were from 1500 - 2300 at night. Is this considered to be a 'good contract' ? .. I ask because i have read some very positive posts re - KFUPM and wonder if people are talking about the same deal.
Any input would be appreciated ]

I forgot to mention that the teacher will also be expected to pay his fare to and from Saudi plus his own vacation tickets (after 12 month service ). On second thoughts, guess i cannot AFFORD to work there.

KFUPM hires both directly and through AL-Falak. The terms and conditions are different.

Go thru AL Falak at your own peril.

KFUPM have their own website which you can find by a simple google search.

You can apply via their website but it will probably take 12 months or so.
