hi all

a question for anyone who did apostille for going to mexico or colombia etc. can i get my degree certificate notarised at the foreign office in London ? will they do it in spanish or is just an official seal that foreign countries recognise ?

Yes, they'll do it there. I don't think they do translations but the apostille is recognised here. Is it a degree in a related field to teaching? As if you don't have a tefl cert, they'll need to use it to get you an FM3.

OH, WELL I HAVE A LAW DEGREE BUT NO TEFL AND NO TEACHING RELATED DEGREE......ARE YOU SAYING I HAVE TO HAVE A TEACHING REALTED DEGREE ?????

You can maybe use the law degree to get a work permit for teaching, but by the book, your degree has to be related to the work you'll be doing.

Are you coming to Mexico to teach English?

Not sure what the Colombians do for this...

im going to colombia first for a few months and then coming to mexico...that is the plan...

Sorry, typo on my part. You are coming to teach in Mexico? To teach..English, law...? Practice law? Tourist? Perhaps a dumb question...you wouldn't be posting here unless you were coming to teach...Embarassed

Do you have a job lined up? Ask your employer as to what you need for a work permit.
