Do you reckon Karr could get a job in Istanbul?

Yes, Karr would be able to work in Istanbul, and most other places in Turkey without a problem. He is well presented, neat, clean looking (in a rather ``nerdy kind of style``) and looks serious and committed. Most schools only scratch the surface, and if the appearance and the resume seem ok, then they (the schools) will hire.

Ghost knows of individuals in Turkey who have criminal records and are working.

There are more positions available (to teach English) than qualified applicants, and this situation is the reality, not only in Turkey, but many other places as well. In China they will basically take anyone with a pulse (who is an English speaker) because there will always be a shortage of English teachers to cater to the 1.5 Billion population.

I won't tolerate anybody calling a fellow Scot a freak, even though he is an East coaster. Dervish I am now on the lookout for you too. Brilliant result last night by the way. King Walter.
