Hi all. I was just wondering if you could tell me what my job chances would be in the Middle East and what sort of salary I should be looking for in view of my qualifications and experience. I have these qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts(Honours) - English Language and Literature
Graduate Diploma of Secondary(High School) Education
Masters of Arts in Applied Linguistics
Trinity College TESOL certificate

Three years overseas ESL teaching experience
Two years high school teaching experience

Also any suggestions as best country in Middle East to work in would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

With your qualifications and experience, I'd say that you can choose almost any job in any country you'd like. I'd suggest you read around the Middle East threads on this board and the Middle East section of the information journal and see what is around. That way you can narrow down what seems to match your interests and requirements and come up with more specific questions. Pay scales vary by country and institution - say from a minimum of US$2000 - 3500 and there may be a few higher places.

What a pleasure to see a message that doesn't say "I just graduated from secondary school, taught swimming in a camp once, and want to earn thousands of dollars a month. I only want to work in Dubai."
