That Izmir speaker sounds practically Russian to me. ( It must be his background in German.)
One thing I have noticed in the Ankara speaker,as well as in class, is the tendency for English learners to annuciate each letter as a sound and ignoring the fact that there are letter combinations which produce a single sound. "Ask her to Buring.. five thick sulabs " for example. |
