I've just managed to get a hold of my favourite comedy show, 'Scrubs' season 5 on DVD and spotted something I thought was quite intersting / funny.

An episode with an American idea of a 'Turk' (Well, the show's producers image of a what Americans would think a Turk looks like).

I though it was quite amusing as the guy clearly looks like he is an Indian Sikh, nothing like any Turkish person I've ever seen or met.

I looked up the bit on Youtube. It's the bit 3:58 minutes in. Seems there's already some sort of arguement on the user comments Confused

Bit of a pointless thread but....ah well Laughing

I saw that episode on CNBC the other night. That guy clearly wasn't a Turk! I can't believe the director/producers are THAT ignorant. They were probably trying for a laugh, making the doctor character THAT ignorant.

I laughed my ar.se off at that episode. Laugh therapy, always a good thing.

I too have watched Buffy. I always imagined it was a realistic portrayal of life in the contemporary US.

Scrubs is an American comedy, the characters in it are supposed to be exagerated. Kind of like that American in that AK Bank advert, he clearly isn't American.

You're thinking of that video that Tavsan recommended.
