Ramblers,

Im an Iranian-Canadian in Vancouver heading down to Sao Paulo (at first) this December or January for 6 months (tourist visa maximum stay). Ill probably end up in Bahia, Rio or so for Carnival and "settle" in somewhere to jobhunt for the start of the schoolyear in March.

Anybody else heading down around the same time, with the same vague plans? If so, reply with your path, more or less, for ours might cross.

And for those who have done something like this, any advice?

Falou Velhos....

Maz

Hello,

It looks like some of you are heading to Rio the same time as I am. I was there in August and had some trouble getting around the visa requirements. But FISK was of some help to me as far as not requiering one. I'm teaching in Peru as a volunteer, but I need to find a paid position soon. So, if anyone has any recommendations with paticular schools in Rio, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

Maybe, I'll see some of you in December in Rio, who knows!

Tchao y Brasos,

Shannon

Um...www.fisk.com.br ? On google it comes out top of the list. When you do a search just append "site:.br" and you will only get Brazilian sites.
