For Latinos (as) it is important to keep them motivated. Like others I use a variety of styles - mixing it up so to speak. Due to Latin pronunciation rules I think it is important for them to always hear a word or phrase before reading it.

I understand in Japan there is a problem getting students to talk back or debate. This problem doesn't exist here fortunately.
