I agree - would particularly like to download demo lessons - or training lessons. |

When you say ESL, almost anything would work if students can understand the English in it. As to training videos, that is another matter.
Try 'You tube' for various types of videos, some short, some long. I turned up a 3 stooges video I showed., as well as a quasi-documentary on suishi by the Japanese comedy team Raahmen. |

This may be obvious, but
http://video.google.com/
usually returns some good hits. |

Hi
Thanks for all the responses, as always they are really appreciated. No it was not obvious about google, so thanks for that. I did notice "video" is a new switch on google.com and not at all on the UK version, yet.
"
I will try "You Tube", funny that it is the second time I have ever heard of this site. The first was a few hours ago on the news, entangled with google. Thanks.
I was searching for simple clips like opening and closing the door, sitting and standing up, stuff like that. I was just wondering if there was some ESL site that had a bunch to down load. I can't imagine there is not.
The other thing is to take pieces out of longer videos..."I'll be back"...."I don't know nothin bout birthin no babies"
The problem here is I would need some simple video editing software. Anybody that knows of any software that is "simple", the names of those would also be nic e.
Thanks again. |
