Hello everybody !
I teach English in France, in a small town 70 kms away from Lyon, and I'm looking for a teacher who'd be interested in working in my school for one year ( 2007- 2008 ) . I'd love to go to Scotland, Eire or England and I applied several times but so far I've never had any positive answer .
I have to fill in the application form and send it to the Ministry of Education for mid-December but the thing is I have to find a partner and a school for the same date, so if you're interested in teaching a bit of English in a French school, in a nice region ( not far from the mountains and two hours'drive from the sea - southern coast ) and work with nice colleagues and students from 15 to 22 training in mechanics and car-body, don't hesitate and just send me an e-mail to answer . We would swap jobs, pupils, flats and countries . I'm sure this can be a great experience !
Hope to have news from you very soon, dear partner . Sylvianne . |

Ca va Sylvianne,
This is probably not the best site to get a swap in that most teachers here will probably not be working in mainstream schools.
Try these links as they may be more helpful:
http://www.britishcouncil.org/wotw/
http://www.teachernet.gov.uk/
http://www.tes.co.uk/
The latter has teacher forums which might be the best way to contact partners directly.
Hopefully other posters here with more experience can also point you in the right direction. |
