these guys seem to be one of the main firms for teaching in greece. their website sounds good, but are they? any comments greatly appreciated, as i'm considering the option of using them to find me work (though i'll steer clear of athens! it sounds terrible).

thanks ...

I think Anglo-Hellenic is an agency and not an employer. Generally speaking wges in Greece are pretty low. I can now wait for someone to accuse me of being "negative" because I have expressedmy opinion that salaries for TEFL teachers in Greece are not what you need to live on. Of course even if you offer 50 Euro a month you will still get someone to swallow the bait !

If you doubt that look at the labour market in Greece's northern neighbour. There are, amazingly people who are prepard to work in Bulgaria fo the awful wages paid there.

Turkey pays better.

so said a post awhile back. Or maybe it was posted in the job journal. It seems to be a one man show and one poster detailed how he was given the runaround by this guy who owns the agency. Beware!
Expenses are high in Greece and there's little money to be made.
