If you're getting your resident visa in Guayaquil, here's some info. It took me only an hour.
They're located in the Porta building, near the World Trade Centre. The consulate in on the 14th floor.

Antes de Acercarse al consulado debera depositar 80 dolares que es valor de su visa en la cuenta corriente n� 4566939 del banco del pacifico, que es un banco local y traer una foto a color actualizada de cualquier tama�o.
