Can anyone recommend a good bank? I need to open an account and would prefer one that doesn`t have a lot of silly rules (I tried Citibank today, but they said I`d get penalized if I had less than 500,000 in my account) and has some English-speaking staff.

Yeah. I need a holiday soon. But every time I look, people seem to be asking some inane question or another without first stopping to think about what they're asking.

I have no problems helping folks -- but why is it so hard for people to read a few FAQs, stickies, maybe even doing a Google search or two... And before posting, searching the forum -- there's often a very good chance that the same (or very similar) question has been asked and answered...

Wow that is a lot of money! I really don't like citibank, I think they would change the name to something that sounds similar but not appropriate to write on this forum!

Anyway, I think the post office is the most convenient. No extra changes like Misubishi does if you use the ATM off banking hours!
