I recently graduated with a degree in English. I've worked in and out of classrooms during my schooling and post-college as a sub. I've become more and more interested in going overseas, life is an adventure, gotta take risks, the whole shebang.

Choosing between Japan and Korea, Japan seems like a safer bet for what would be a first time expat, such as myself. The schools seem more legit. Is this a pretty safe assumption?

Plus i hear japanese people tend to like Americans more than their Korean counterparts.

Well done, I just spoke to James Joyce and he said your work was "wicked"!

Yes, life is good... but don't use "the whole shebang" in an interview.

Next: Do some more research... people's experiences differ.

A generalization. But yes, I think most Japanese like Americans more than Koreans. (

Take my response with a grain of salt, as I have never lived in Korea. From what I've read on the boards, and from my years of living in Japan, I would agree with your quote.

Gotta agree with sheik on this one.
Example.
Many Okinawans despise Americans because of problems associated with the military there.
Example.
Many Japanese are enthralled these days with Korean actors and actresses, and as such, some Korean TV programs are aired here with great popularity.
