It seems that some folks have finally got their wish and the "Questions for the Men out there" thread has been locked, I hope they're happy now Crying or Very sad Where shall we post our football related musings now? What is to become of our weekly match schedules?

I had a text sms from a friend(lurker) this morning asking for it back cos he used to go there solely to find out when/which footie was on tv.

Thank the lord ,there is a god after all and he made the right choice ,I knew if I kept ramming my head against the brick wall someone had to sit up and take notice .Thank you Dave and the moderators for bringing this pain to a successful closure .Now how did people find out about football and all its overglorified hate and bigitory before this thread was created ?Time to find out I think .

The irony is, of course, that during your one man mission to get the thread finished, it was you who resorted to hatred and bigotry, and it surely it was your insulting and violent comments that stopped the thread rather than our light hearted musings about a game we enjoy. So well done.

We could go over to the footie thread in the China forum. But they wouldn't be interested in what times matches were on in Turkey. We were only trying to make things easier for people who live in Turkey watch the beautiful game.... obviously this ruled out last weeks chelski/ Barca match.
