Does each school or school branch prefer its teachers to use a certain bank? What bank does Aeon use? |

Yes, but no company can force you to go with a particular bank... In fact, technically speaking, I don't think they can even force you to get a bank account... I've actually known a LOT of people who have always insisted on getting paid in cash (now when I think about it).
Often they tell you which bank they PREFER in order to simplify bank transfers but don't get bullied into anything. Find the bank that suits YOUR needs -- for me that happened to be Shinsei even though my BoE (as well as my previous employer) used a prefectural (local) bank and strongly encouraged me to keep the same. I did until I got very angry with their lack of service (especially in English), their limited hours (ATMs shut off at 9pm) and their outlandish fees for EVERYTHING...
Sorry, I don't know which bank AEON uses, having said all that. |

I work for Aeon and was able to choose my own bank. It didn't seem to be an issue at all (for my branch, anyway.) |
