|
|
This week I was on the clock for 48 hours and taught 27 lessons, also played 3 sets of tennis this morning in light rain--the beauty of the omni surface--and have to be in tomorrow (Sun.) at eight and work until mid-day. Ouch, is that brutal or what?
Enjoy,

Have you ever tried teaching in an inner city school in Canada? Don't want to hear you whinning about you teaching twenty seven lessons in a week! |

I'm going to assume Sweetsee doesn't have just one FT job, but a string of PT ones.
As for me, last year I worked in a private HS and had to go to 17 classes per week, but I had to make 11 completely different lesson plans per week for those classes.
Before I went FT at the HS, I still worked 15-17 classes per week there, and had a dozen private lessons (each with its own lesson plan) per week. |

Why are you assuming that Glenski? Pretty sure I told you I have one full time job and now 2 part time ones.
Inner-city school in Canada? Nope. I did accompany my students to Canada twice though. Nice there, especially enjoyed Vancouver. Met some folks in Banff Spings too, bus drivers at the Rimrock, told me I was the first Yank that they didn't think was a wank. Ugly American syndrome I suppose. Told me about how they go out "bulling"(?) Can't remember what they called it but they call moose or elk or something with some type of horn, don't think they were shooting them but highly illegal.
Wasn't whining there junior, mind your manners. Just curious about workloads.
Enjoy,

That was in reference to a comment on another thread, I believe. I also believe my querry pertained to: current efl teaching hours per week, Pops.
And in answer to your question, yes, I am working as we speak, of course. Didn't I mention that? |

Wow, that's great! Thanks!
Was it co-ed? Was it a favorable experience? Was it lucrative?
Are you willing to discuss the circumstances surrounding your departure from the school and what you did from there?
Thanks in advance sempai.
Enjoy,

Ah yes, thank you. How did you get the job? Do they need anyone?
What do you think of me buying and building a Canadian loghouse here?
What do you call it in Canada when people call bulls with horns for fun?
What part of Canada are you from?
What was your teaching philosophy at the school in Machida?
Why does your user name say you are here when you are there?
Recommended material for high school classes here?
What was your teaching philosophy while teaching in Machida?
Comments regarding the Japanese style of basketball coaching at the high school level?
Thanks in advance,
