This is what I tried to say vikdk, kind of hard to prove as a fact, and I never proposed any philosophy as fact. I would recommend someone actually study the doctrines behind such teaching before they dismiss them out of hand.

I will go back through all my posts of the past two or three days, since before thta I have not posted here in months, and see what I said or did to this person.

I think this is just a matter of following the crowd, I do wish people would do so more in regards to positive feelings then negative ones though, world would be a better place.

Ah! Nathan if you're willing to take some advice from a green hand (Teaching in China slightly less than 2 years, and only 70 something posts here should certainly place me in that category) IMO you could do many on the board a real service by going over and hanging out on the "How do you know when you've been in China too long?" thread. You could serve as a prime example, thus making a truly worthwhile contribution, and judging from the tone of many of your posts, that is after all what you are hoping to accomplish. Yes? Hope this helps Rolling Eyes

Zhu hao,

Shawn

But learning from the Nathan method of seeing good in all posters - I will follow your fine lead Shawn, and ask you - can you back up this statement with some statistical evidence Question

Vik, All this time and you're just now catching on? After wading through the daily tripe you tend to post I long ago learned to look for the positives.

can you back this up with fact - indeed what tripe are you talking about - are you refering to a lovely serving of cow stomach, that fine variety of nosh much favoured in good ol' Yorkshire - or is it something more poisonous in nature??? As a leading forum poison expert please enlighten us Wink
Sorry Shawn - just following your lead again!!!

You should have said something earlier Malsol, this post was rather personal in the form of attacks from the very beginning.

Wait a dog gone moment..Steppee gave this honor to me...

CJ, I no longer insult others, it is a pointless waste, and you need not worry, I won't PM you again, I have not, nor will I. You take care of yourself.

don't think bout it....insults on this board are just "showboating" and have little to do with the "real" attitude or personality of the poster...we all write responses that we may not deliver in person...I know a few of you are rollin your eyes when you think of this statement coming out of my unabridged mouth....but don't waste your time trying to justify yourself to the likes of these boring ESL teachers hanging on to a keyboard for excitement...find those that can give you valuable advice and stick to the ones who seem to have good sense..I have made some good friends here..and some I had before I started posting but in my travels around China..I have met a few ESL cafers who have been an excellent source of help and information..as well as support...I think china is frustrating but worth every moment ..if you can get into a motion of acceptance..and just roll with the china size shenanigans that accompany the landscape...

I do believe I know who Ludwig is, what his other user names might be, and I do believe I have had the chance to recieve his phonecall once...no need to get into any details there, but ...

.... if NathanRahl is indeed Ludwig, then he must be laughing his behind off at the people who have so much time discussing and dissecting the writing style of this made-up cyber character. Come on people, has it ever occured to you that maybe, just maybe, you are playing right into his hands? You are amusing him with all your analytical discussions.
i couldn't agree more.

Peace to all those with multiple user names as well as those with one
and
cheers and beers to all hard working and hard thinking FTs everywhere Very Happy
