We will be arriving in Phuket in the high season (Jan) so I am just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to stay for a few days before one gets into some permanent accomodations?
I have been searching on some websites but a persons personal experience in these places are no match! Cheers  |

Can anybody  with this one?
I don't know much about the Phuket hotel scene,
but here's tedkarma's list on Phuket Delight
with rooms starting @ $12 per night.

| The airport is a bit of a drive from Phuket, hop in a taxi when you arrive and you can tell them what you are looking for and they will help you watch yourself though as the driver may take you to his "friends hotel" where he gets a cut. |
