Does anyone know of any Christian organizations teaching English as a foreign/second language in Argentina? I haven't been able to find anything related to that in my searches here.
I'd prefer the northeastern part of the country, especially Buenos Aires and Rosario areas if possible.

Also, if TEFL doesn't work out, has anyone had experience doing other types of work to get by in Latin America? Any recommendations?

I don't know of Christian organizations that teach English, but to answer your second question, freelancing is the best way of doing it. If you know two languages well, you could try translating..

Any skill that you may have that you can possibly teach, offer to teach it. I know by experience that holstic health and the healing arts are fairly popular here in Argentina, such as teaching yoga, Reiki and other types of energy healing. If you feel drawn to learning that kind of stuff people are willing to pay for that.

Just wanted to bring this back to the front once more, before I take off.
Does anyone know of any Christian organizations in the Buenos Aires/Rosario/La Plata area that hire English teachers? Or for that matter, any that do things other than teaching English?
