Having spent many years in Poland,(since 95 on and off),I think it's really sad to see such beautiful women with such sad, sorry wrecks.A while ago the Guardian even published an article about the Rodney and Del Boy Trotter types that are becoming more and more numerous in Poland.Very few are interested in teaching and you only have to glance through the Polish forum to see that most men are there to find love. This begs the question;are Polish women generally dumb or do they just have other motives?
Generally speaking,Polish women do look good and like to dress up.However,I think that it's really difficult for Brits to relate to Polish people. They are a gloomy bunch. The women are self obsessed and bloody temperamental. All of my old timer friends there agree, that at times,Polish women behave like lunatics.I don't go for this Polish girl catholic thing either...I've never had so many one night stands in my life and it makes me laugh that blokes build them up so much....maybe it's a kind of self-denial...I just don't know.I also find Polish women very materialistic, which can really damage your TEFL income
I know an awful lot of men in their mid 30's who are now divorced from Poles,(like myself) because once you get over that 'wow she's a hotty' thing....converstion becomes limited.Afterall, what can anyone who's travelled a lot have in common with a girl 10 years younger than them who has lived in Gorzow all her life, been nowhere and done nothing?

Thanks for being such a sport...good show!

Polish girls are indeed hotties.

They also have a lot to offer in the way of personality and relationships (if that turns out to be your thing) . It just takes understanding and a willingness to assimilate yourself into the culture.

-materialistic

-self-obsessed

-divorce

-nothing to talk about after the "wow, what a hottie" stage

hmmmm.....sounds like America. Especially the divorce part.

The girl who has lived in Gorzow all her life, been nowhere and done nothing is much the same as the girl who has lived in any small town all her life, been nowhere and done nothing. Anyone who can't figure out she's not the girl to marry after at most a couple of piwos has fair chance ending up divorced no matter where they go to meet their wife.

Poles gloomy! Maybe they can appear so on the surface but they are among the best partying people I've come across on my travels. I find them much more open and cheery than British folk generally. Its all about opinions I suppose.

Agree with you about the Catholic thing - I dont know where anyone gets the idea Polsih women are somehow more virtuous or 'harder to get'. They're not.

Looking at some of the posters here one can begin to understand why they might have problems with arousing interest from the opposite sex....

I think its hilarious how you a lot of you generalise so much about Polish women. The only generalisation to be made is that, well, theyre hot. In general.

The other stuff - gloomy, materialistic etc etc...In my view this is, to some extent, down to individual experiences....And in most cases down to the fact that the losers on here have absolutely no idea how to treat a women. Listen to yourselves! You want to be worshipped but what the **** have you got to offer??? A higher income? So what??? What else? From what Ive seen very little else... Unless you count being badly dressed, alcoholism and self-centredness amongst the qualities a hot Polish girl should appreciate.

Even if you come here with the intention not to find a girlfriend. Eventally its all you look for. Warsaw, has very little to do apart from go out and get laid.

The weather is grim, the buildings are depressing, the Police are opressive and the blokes, I really have a problem with these. Talk about defensive little mummys boys.

Me and my friend just come over from England, and went out and he started talking to a girl with 'this guy she was with' and he asked me to tell him to stop talking to her. I told him to tell him yourself with a bit of swearing involved.

I have started to be a real b*****d, chatting up girls with fellas just to see the reaction I get. You can really push it a long way before they give you any sort of response.

Polish Women are so defensive and have no idea how to have fun. They are so 'matey-matey' its hard to get anywhere. One night stands are non existant. They dislike people with natural confidence despite asking for it.

They all have boyfriends, the rate here is astronomical. I believe them too, you only have t walk round streets to see that. And it not like Barnsley where you can still get them even if they are seeing someone.

I don't know who said they hve a lot of one night stands, I don't know where you go.

One good thing here his that there is work - And Work means that you can save money to get OUT. And that his what I am trying to do.

Before I get deported and that would be a blessing.

Any poor sod thinking about comming to Warsaw, I would say, If you are into culture or Women think again and hard. The legendary stories that get back to England through EasyJet travellers are largely fantasy. Instead you get awful pubs and clubs with wet blokes looking as you like they want to beat you up. (If only they could see the area I lived in Wink )

Also has I have property to rent out in Yorkshire, when I get back at Christmas, the price is going to sky rocket for Polish people after the issues I had with property, eventually I had to buy a flat.

Really, Really, Really, not worth the Ag

Evil or Very Mad YI

I can see how "Excuse me but could you have a word with your mate? My girlfriend is getting slightly annoyed with him." would be completely unacceptable. Much better for the Polish bloke to front up to your mate and give it some verbal.

Hmm, the 'she was asking for it' defence. Always a joy to see that one.

Try Ground Zero. Sounds right up your street.

Did you used to write speeches for Tony Blair by any chance?

Good to see that you'll be doing your bit for Anglo-Polish relations even after you leave Poland.
